Dr. Squatch—a men’s brand with a sense of humor—created a made-up product, complete with fake packaging for April Fool’s Day.

The brand’s TikTok and Instagram posts on April 1st said:

Introducing Rizz Rinse. After you shower with this bricc, everyone will call you a Rizzler.

What’s rizz?

It’s the Gen Z slang term and hashtag that has racked up six billion views on TikTok as of January 2023, according to the Evening Standard.

Twitch streamer Kai Cenat is credited with popularizing the term rizz, which some say is short for “charisma”—or the ability to attract a potential romantic interest.

According to Google Trends, “what is rizz” reached peak popularity on Google search across the U.S. in November 2022. Now it seems to be going mainstream, as brands are using it.

Dr. Squatch’s social media posts said this, at the end:

JK (just kidding). April Fool’s! This is not a reskin but we may make it a reality if we get to 50k likes on our TikTok post.

The TikTok post has 36.7 thousand likes as of April 3rd—and the Instagram post has 16.4 thousand.

Dr. Squatch is a brand known for fun packaging and collaborations.

The brand’s limited edition Star Wars Collector’s Box includes Wisdom Wash, with Yoda on the carton; Only Hope Soap with Obi-Wan Kenobi; Dark Side Scrub with Darth Vader; and Ruthless Rinse with Darth Maul.

The brand made a promotional version of the box—and it plays the Star Wars theme song when you lift the lid.
